NFL fans have become accustomed to the comments of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth in the camp as NBC broadcasts the game.
This may not be what fans of the band have heard on Thanksgiving night, though.
Instead, Mike Tirico has been playing with former White Drew Brees player commenting on NBC’s broadcast of the Bills-Saints show, NBC announced.
Why would this be a combination of Thanksgiving? Sporting News is coming.
Why are Drew Brees and Mike Tirico singing Thanksgiving at night?
It is not uncommon to see Tirico playing a Thanksgiving nightly game.
This will be his fifth time camping on Turkey Day, as he named the 2016 Thanksgiving games, and everyone from 2018.
However, this will be the first time Brees is on the field to comment on NFL matches. Brees co-starred with Tirico at the NBC Sunday night show, “Football Night in America,” for the first time since leaving the stadium.
Brees has suffered a bit of domestic violence this season as he has commented on a college football game in Notre Dame this season.
There are a few other things that play for Brees to become a member. Initially, the game will be in New Orleans, where Brees spent 15 of 20 seasons as the future Hall of Fame NFL quarterback. Saints announced on Nov. 17 that Brees will be honored at half-time, with fans receiving a “Thank you Drew” towel and video message that should be shown throughout the game.
“My family and I always appreciate the experience we have had together with New Orleans and Who Dat Nation,” Brees said in a statement. “What a wonderful time it will be, back to Dome with the biggest fans in the world.”
The move continues to speculate that Brees and Tirico could be the future NBC team, especially since Michaels is in the final year of his contract with NBC and Collinsworth has just two years left on his contract.
NBC has announced that Mike Tirico and Drew Brees will make the call @Bills–@Holy Thanksgiving nightclub at 8pm ET on NBC and Peacock. Undoubtedly Brees was hired by the long-term eye resident of Tirico during the Michaels-Collinsworth era.

Where will Al Michaels be in 2022?
By the end of the 2021 season, Michaels’ contract will be terminated, and as Super Bowl LVI approaches, it looks to be offline.
Michaels has been linked with Amazon, who is looking for a broadcaster for the “Thursday Night Football” match. A report earlier this year from the New York Post stated that Amazon has a 90 percent chance of getting Michaels on the show.
In speaking with Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated on the “Sports Illustrated Media Podcast,” Michaels said he was “playing this year” and said NBC had been good for him.
“If there is a production mix between Amazon and NBC, that creates another template here,” Michaels told Traina. “Because instead, we can manage two packages. It’s not a connection yet. I know it’s being discussed. Amazon may need a production partner and we’ll see what happens at the end of the year.”
There is no partnership between Amazon and Michaels.
After leaving to join the Amazon radio team, Michaels looks set to be replaced by Tirico on the “Sunday Night Soccer” boradcast.
