Reports: Manchester United to name Ralf Rangnick as interim manager

Manchester United are close to appointing Ralf Rangnick as their manager until the end of the season, according to a number of reports.

The Red Devils have held high-level talks with the 63-year-old, and are expected to be announced soon as a replacement for former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and current caretaker Michael Carrick, a former Solskjaer assistant.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino has been on United’s radar, but the Ligue 1 giants say they have dropped their first question. Rangnick steered the ship until the end of the season.
