NFL picks, predictions for Week 12: Ravens bury Browns; Bucs cool Colts; Steelers stay in AFC hunt

On paper, Week 12 of the NFL football season is one of the best this season.

There are seven matchups about teams with scores of .500 or more, and this game will go a long way in eliminating the damage in the playoff tournament in AFC and NFC.

Two AFC North rounds are coming. It is the only part where each team has a successful record.

Pittsburgh goes to Cincinnati, and Cleveland goes to Baltimore. Will the Bengals sweep the Steelers and take the next step towards the slope with second-year-old Joe Burrow? Will Lamar Jackson come back and help the Ravens try to get more distance from all the other teams?

There are some good matchups on the list, too. Tom Brady leads Tampa Bay to one of Indiaapolis’s best-known senior clubs. The red Patriots welcome the Titans. The Rams go to face the Packers in a battle for NFC fighters, too.

Each week, Sporting News selects NFL matches directly. See our history so far:

NFL picks, Week 12 predictions

  • Pittsburgh Steelers in Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5)

Sunday, 1pm, CBS

The Bengal have not swept the Steelers since 2009; the 10 best season Cincinnati lost in the AFC Wild Card round. Cincinnati dominated the first meeting 24-7, and the Steelers must decide who will return between TJ Watt, Minkah Fitzptrick and Joe Haden. There is a chance for Bengal to win, but how many times have we walked this road? The Steelers draw surprises at Paul Brown Stadium.

Choose: Steelers 28, Bengals 24

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) at Indianapolis Colts

Sunday, 1pm, FOX

Tom Brady has a long history in major leagues at Indianapolis, but Peyton Manning is not the one to complain this week. Instead, it’s Jonathan Taylor, who is approximately 157.7 yards running the past three weeks for the Colts. Tampa Bay has the best defense in the league, and will be tested. The Buccaneers leave in the fourth quarter behind Brady, who is 5-4 in Indianapolis (including postseason). They leave with a single victory against the ancient enemies.

Choose: Buccaneers 30, Colts 26

  • Carolina Panthers (-1) in Miami Dolphins

Sunday, 1pm, FOX

Cam Newton Vs. Tua Tagovailoa the next day Iron Bowl? It’s a relaxing time for planners. Newton’s return has been on the horizon, but Miami’s defense has allowed 12 points in all games to be won three straight times. At home, that means the fourth consecutive win.

Choose: 22 dolphins, 20 Panthers

  • Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-5.5)

Sunday, 1pm, CBS

The line-up looks high due to the Titans ‘place in the AFC rankings, but I’m shaking my head at the Patriots’ game-shutting and rookie quarterback Mac Jones. Mike Vrabel has led Tennessee to victory over the Patriots in the last two meetings, too. That said, we trust the safety of the Patriots at home, where they allow only 10 ppg. in their last two.

Choose: Patriots 24, Titans 19

  • Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) The New York Giants

Sunday, 1pm, FOX

The Eagles have made a comeback with a backlash victory that they have scored at least 30 points. New York beat Philadelphia at home last season, but it was another state.

Choose: 25 Eagles, 20 Giants

  • Atlanta Falcons (-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Sunday, 1pm, CBS

The Falcons had more time to figure out what was wrong with the loss of the Patriots and Cowboys. The Jaguars have won impressively, but have not scored more than 19 points in home games. Georgia fans finally celebrate the victory against Urban Meyer.

Choose: Towards 21, 17 Jaguars

  • Jets in New York at Houston Texas (-3)

Sunday, 1pm, CBS

The preparation process will be the topic of discussion in the game, and the Texans are the ones who come from victory. The Texans are forced to turn five times in their last two games, and New York has a -15-year interest rate.

Choose: Texas 23, 17 Jets

  • Los Angeles Charger (-2.5) at Denver Broncos

Sunday, 4:05 pm, CBS

The Broncos have a 5-3 chance in the AFC West tournament since the Chargers moved. Justin Herbert, however, is 3-1 with a total of 100.6 quarterback on the road this season. Los Angeles made a victory and victory against the Steelers, and it continues on its way.

Choose: Chargers 31, Broncos 24

  • Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers (-1)

Sunday, 4:25 pm, FOX

The Rams are coming last week. The Packers needed last week, and the offensive line also suffered an injury to Elgton Jenkins. Aaron Rodgers (thumb) is also hurting, and that’s not good news against the refreshing Rams team looking for new stars Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. The Packers were unbeaten at home, but Matthew Stafford is recovering from that frustration. .

Choose: Sheep 28, Packers 24

  • Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers (-3)

Sunday, 4:25 pm, FOX

This is an exciting battle between two NFC playoff players. The Vikings have played six games selected with four points or less, and are 2-4 in those games. Their safety is even healthier. San Francisco has won three out of four, but is only 1-4 at home this season. Minnesota steals one on the street.

Choose: Ma Vikings 27, 49ers 21

  • Cleveland Browns on the Baltimore Ravens (-4)

Sunday, 8:20 pm, NBC

Lamar Jackson missed Week 11, and Baker Mayfield is battling several injuries. The Ravens are 3-1 at home this season, but the loss of the Bengals earlier this year. Baltimore has won three of the last four places in the series, and the second defense in the league will be a huge boost. Ravens control divisions.

Choose: Makwangwala 29, Browns 24

  • Seattle Seahawks for Washington Football Team (-1)

Monday, 8:15 pm, ESPN

The Seahawks’ case has scored just 13 points in two games since Russell Wilson’s return, and Washington has stepped up its defense two weeks ago by allowing 20 points per game. Washington is 4-1 with less than two changes in the game. Seattle play well, breathe a little and Wilson finally goes.

Choose: Seahawks 25, Washington 23

(Getty Photos)

  • Chicago Bears (-3.5) at Detroit Lions

Thursday, 12:30 pm, FOX

Who will be the quarterbacks? Jared Goff is expected to stay in Detroit, meaning Tim Boyle will start again. Bears coach Matt Nagy has not changed the face of Justin Fields, meaning Andy Dalton could start the bears. Dirty football can bring unexpected results, but Chicago has the risk of running and defense. Less (41.5) can play.

Choose: Bears 23, Lions 13

  • Las Vegas Raiders at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

Thursday, 4:30 pm, CBS

Dak Prescott may be without Amari Cooper (COVID-19) and CeeDee Lamb (concussion protocol), but the Cowboys remain fond of touching opponents. Las Vegas is -4 in the interest rate on their losses, so check out Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs with a big defensive play. The Cowboys break two lost games in a Thanksgiving game.

Choose: Cowboys 31, Raiders 22

  • Buffalo Bills (-4) in New Orleans Saints

Thursday, 8:20 pm, NBC

The Saints are in three losing games, with Trevor Siemian finishing 57.3% of his win in that losing race. The Bills lost three times in each game in the last three weeks, and if they don’t clean up this could happen again. We trust Josh Allen to be able to navigate the ship well in difficult games on the road. Buffalo and 2-3 ATS are preferred by the same numbers, so this can be very close.

Choose: Bills 27, Holy 24
