In fact, over 6 million students around the world have completed 90+ million DataCamp exercises to date! Currently, DataCamp has over 2,000 businesses and government entities around the world subscribing to our full course library and we will be massively scaling that number in 2021 and beyond.

About the Role

We’re looking to bring in an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to flood our team of account executives with opportunities. This is an extremely important role as we look to expand the business.

We need someone who wants to

  • Be part of a fast-growing startup environment

  • Build a pipeline, and reverse engineer it to help build the framework for future SDRs
  • Significantly help grow the business by delivering high quality, high value opportunities to a team of account executives on a consistent basis
  • Approach each conversation with intent, curiosity and the desire to add value and solve challenges for prospective customers


  • Identify prospective buyers and champions at organizations at the right time
  • Engage with prospective buyers using a combination of phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other creative approaches
  • Form and maintain lasting relationships with prospective buyers, setting the tone for what it’s like to work with DataCamp
  • Generate interest and book meetings for discovery and qualification
  • Keep our CRM (Salesforce) up to date with lead and account information
  • Consistently generate pipeline for our team of closers
  • Speak intelligently on the latest industry trends, and DataCamp content and product developments

Our Ideal Candidate has

  • BA/BS from an accredited university or equivalent
  • 1 year as an SDR or similar role
  • Experience working in SaaS (Ed tech sales is a plus)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Resilient and positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative and reach autonomy in their responsibilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-starter who is dedicated, eager, and driven to succeed
