About the Role

We’re looking to bring in a manager to help build and scale our Outbound Sales Development team (SDRs) – designed  to overwhelm our team of account executives with opportunities. This is an extremely important role as we look to expand the business.

We need someone who wants to

  • Be part of a fast-growing startup environment

  • Lead and mentor SDRs to consistently build a healthy revenue stream for our team of sellers
  • Analyze, plan, experiment and rebuild processes to perfection
  • Be in the field acting as a source of support and inspiration for the rest of the team


  • Hire and onboard new outbound SDRs
  • Define SDR performance metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, opportunities, account quality, lead-to-close)
  • Monitor activities including, but not limited to call and email volume, and key performance metrics
  • Deliver ongoing training on prospecting, email outreach, calling, discovery and qualification
  • Motivate, coach, and develop SDRs to help them reach their potential and grow into top performers in the field
  • Manage pipeline and track key performance indicators to exceed goals
  • Evaluate historical performance and forecast future business to senior leadership
  • Own the throughput of your teams efficiency and output working through their books of businesses and named accounts
  • Manage our third party provider relationship, holding them accountable for performance and key deliverables

Our Ideal Candidate has

  • BA/BS from an accredited university or equivalent
  • 5+ years an SDR or similar role
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Experience working in SaaS (Ed tech sales is a plus)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Resilient and positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative and reach autonomy in their responsibilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly booked meetings

  • Conversion rates: lead-to-meeting, meeting-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-qualified, qualified-to-closed won
