The winners who have not won 122 pounds will clash on Nov. 27 when WBC champion Brandon Figueroa (22-0-1, 17 KOs) meets WBO defender Stephen Fulton Jr. (19-0, 8 KOs) at Dolby Live at MGM Park in Las Vegas.
The winner of the show will be one step closer to becoming an undisputed champion and will be on the line to face the WBA (Super) and future IBF holder Murodjon Akhmadaliev in the future.
Figueroa is coming out on top in the seventh round for Luis Nery who has not been defeated in May. Fulton ordered Angelo Leo in January to take over the WBO title and settle the much-anticipated controversy. The two were due to meet on September 18, but Figueroa was found to have COVID. The fight was rescheduled in November.
